Today's devotional is a call to repentance and to choose Jesus today, tomorrow might be too late.
In Luke 13, Jesus called the people to make a personal choice to repent and not think they were okay because the have been spared from the evil that happened to others as if it was because of their righteousness.
"“Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
Luke 13:2-5 NLT.
It is not the will of the Father that we perish but we will if we refuse the salvation, the way to him, that he has given us through his son Jesus;
"“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."
John 3:16-17 NLT.
