Quoting from the prophet Isaiah, Jesus said about himself; “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”
Luke 4:18-19 NLT. These Mission is accomplished. There is Good News for everyone today; the captives have been released, they can now go free if they so choose. The eyes of the blind is opened, we are no longer walking in the dark because a great light has shined upon us. The oppressed have been set free, we are no longer slaves to sin, slaves to the devil, slaves to the flesh. Finally, God's long awaited favour is here, today. Choose Jesus and experience the blessings of the Good News.
