Description

In today's devotional, in several instances, Jesus healed people in response to their faith. We pointed a verse today and said; faith can be seen. In faith, some were able to literally reach into the power of God to receive their miracles. In the case of the woman with the issue of blood, she, without asking permission or anyone knowing, had faith enough to be healed by touching him instead of Jesus touching her, she literally tapped into the power of God on him.

"Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment." Matthew 9:20‭-‬22 NLT.

The truth about this scenario is, the woman wasn't the only one touching Jesus, in fact, in the harmonized version of this event, Peter actually asked Jesus how he could be asking who touched when the whole crowd were evidently pressing to just see and touch him. However, this woman was the only one who actually touch Jesus in faith, she received her healing. She touched him with a definite expectation that what she was praying for would happen. Jesus calls this; faith.

I ask this morning, do you have faith to be healed?
