I meet people sometimes and they are just not happy at the direction their life is going; marriage, academic results, relationships, promotion at work, etc. They are surprised that despite their best intentions, they seem unlucky to be able to get their desired outcomes. Proverbs 4:20 gives us the wisdom to answer, the direction of the course of your life is heavily impacted or determined by what is flowing out of their heart. Just like a good tree cannot produce bad fruits, a wrongly motivated heart will give you positive outcomes. Change the heart, change the life. Determine what is inside a heart, and determine the course of that life literally.
