Part 2 of Project MKULTRA the guys go through the 20 year lifespan of MKULTRA. In 1953 Sidney Gottlieb is tasked with heading the secret program after he had successfully streamlined project Artichoke. Right From the start with the death of a CIA officer to watching prostitutes through 2 way mirrors MKULTRA was drug fueled chaos. The program even went north of the border in Montreal where a doctor at McGill University was using shock therapy to erase minds and then “Psychic Drive” them to a desired psychiatric state but the program never really worked. In the 60s Gottlieb came up with a bunch of ridiculous scenarios to assassinate Fidel Castro. In 64 we catch up with one of the most infamous characters in the whole MKULTRA fiasco, Jolly West who is actually said to have driven Jack Ruby insane. In the 70 MKULTRA is said to have ended after the CIA director ordered all records destroyed but some were missed.
