Shelly-Ann Guinn was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta., and moved to Calgary in 1981. She studied calligraphy, watercolour, oil painting, sculpture paste flowers, mosaic work, and used many of her works in her new illustration book. She also studied from the Hebrew Scrolls Academy. Shelly lives with h er husband Azar in their home in Calgary. Through her vulnerability and wisdom, Shelly shares what it was like to find her voice throughout her life, and what creating looks like today.
