Is it just me or does making new mom friends feel like you're back to the painful world of online dating?! I didn't think it would be THAT hard to make new friends. The mom groups, mommy-and-me classes, local mom events, and even Facebook groups had me wondering if I was ever going to make a new friend again. I questioned myself, what was wrong with me? What was wrong with them? Why was this so weird? Why did I leave every "mom date" feeling defeated and having the dating feels of "Well, here we go again... starting over!"
We need community. No matter what you're telling yourself. Why? Listen and find out. You WILL make mom friends, trust me. Listen to learn how. Simply listen to feel better about your momline dating experience and to know you're not weird and no you're not the only one.
