Maxim D. Shrayer, a bilingual author and translator, teaches at Boston College. His recent books of poetry includeOf Politics and Pandemics, in English, and Stikhi iz aipada, in Russian. Shrayer’s new memoir, Immigrant Baggage, is forthcoming in 2023.
