Ep 36: Today I'm here to tell you a story. One that perhaps you can relate to. One of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. Of entering states of pure ecstasy and aliveness. My first ecstasy pill brought me to the front door of the divine and my soul entered my body. This pill led to a decade of a glamourous lifestyle as a DJ and chasing that first blissful state I felt.
This drug fueled path led me into the darkest nights and the brightest days. Of course, the day came where my body told me 'No more'. And sobriety was opened. But for the first two years of sobriety, I was lost. I missed the bliss. I missed the freedom. I had given up the drugs, but I had lost the ecstasy. And so my journey to recapture the rapture began. And the Tantra teachers all started coming out of the woodworks. All promising ecstasy and bliss. I was skeptical, and curious. But I had nothing to loss. So it began. My journey down the Royal Road began, and the next decade was about reclaiming the lost parts of myself through Tantra.
