Today I am joined by Izzy and we are chatting to Grace Tame! If you don’t recognise this name, then you’ve been living under a rock. Grace was awarded 2021 Australian of the Year for her advocacy for survivors of sexual assault. She was also named by Times Magazine as a Next Generation Leader for 2021.
Now there are plenty of interviews already out there about Grace’s personal story. But today we want to focus more on what she’s advocating for, her relationship with her period, the corrupt culture we are living in but also the power of love to oppose it.
This episode was recorded while South Australia was in lockdown so Izzy and Grace are chatting over Zoom today. And towards the end of the episode you might hear Grace making breakfast, we got to chatting for a while and all got a bit hungry so enjoy this super candid, relaxed conversation in Grace’s kitchen!
