Description

In this episode, I ask Katie about a digital reputation. I've linked in a few resources at the bottom of this description that I have found as I search this topic. As I create digital content, I am thinking about what image I am putting out in the world and also how I'm asking friends of mine to do the same. The best advice I've found is something we teach our students. Before you type, click, or post...THINK. Is it TRUE? Is it HELPFUL? Is it INSPIRING? Is it NECESSARY? Is it KIND? I hope you find this episode answers yes to those questions (Ok - maybe it isn't necessary, but 4 out of 5 isn't bad!)

Katie Weldon is a 6th grade math teacher at Norwalk and Norwalk's current teacher of the year. She is the middle school math PLC lead and has been in education for 21 years. She shares insights to how she has grown as an educator.

Next time on the hallway, I'll be sitting down with Jeff Grabe to pick his brain on building student relationships.
