Nephi and Lehi were the sons of Helaman. They were brothers who taught the word of God. They converted 8,000 Lamanites because the word of God was so powerful in them. Some of the people did not believe and threw them in jail. The guards came to take them and kill them. Nephi and Lehi were surrounded by fire. The fire did not burn them. All 300 of the prisoners were astonished. The prison shook like an earthquake and yet it did not fall to the ground. The prisoners were so afriad. Aminadab had once been a Nephite and a member of God’s church. He saw Nephi and Lehi’s faces. HE told the other prisoners to pray. All 300 prisoners were converted to God and became missionaries.
