Moses was 80 years old when God called him. Caleb, 85,
and he said, give me this mountain.
Today we look at somebody else in this hall of faith
in Hebrews 11. This person is a man by the name of
Abraham. This all started for him at age 75, but he would
be 100 years old when he had his firstborn child through
Sarah, his wife, and a son by the name of Isaac. What I
have discovered in these verses is the writer of Hebrews
is saying God has never changed. It has always been by
grace through faith; even in the Old Testament.
