SCRIPTURE : John 1: 35-46 | Matt 28: 18-20 | Luke 14: 16
1. Come and See
This is what you have to do: V23: Compel the people to come in. COME AND SEE.
Our God desires that His house may be filled. So we have a job to do! There’s a banquet table ready for us not only in eternity but we get to worship together now on earth as the church and we have an opportunity to have the house filled all the time!
We are called to be a part of the Church and to build eachother up and say “Come and see what the Lord has done”!
We have to Invite people to church: People will make excuses and don’t get discouraged by that ~ Make sure to not put an expiration date on your invite!
2. Follow Me
Come and see is the invite, but Come and Follow me is the start of discipleship.
It doesn’t cost you anything to COME AND SEE, but it will cost you everything to take hold of COME AND FOLLOW ME
3. Go and Tell
This is known as the GREAT COMMISSION. It’s still great today and we have to do it! THE GREAT COMMISSION WAS GOD’S IDEA, NOT MAN’S IDEA
