This is the original interview I had planned with Keri Kalmbach. Keri came on in episode 36 to talk specifically about Starlink. This is the episode we recorded a few weeks before that one where we got more into Keri’s RV life story, so I wanted to be sure to share it.
Keri was following your typical American dream with a successful career, degrees and marriage. But something was always missing. She tells us how she went from being a high-powered Manhattan professional to living in a Class C RV, then pop-up trailer and then built-out Sprinter van. Keri eventually settled on a piece of land, but she still travels much of the year.
We also dive in a bit about how Keri stayed connected while working full time on the road and how she resonates with the childhood song about the bear going over the mountain.
I want to note that we did talk about Starlink, but I didn’t include that part of the conversation, because of the recent changes that we addressed in episode 36.
