We all have the wonderful gift of salvation, and it is not due to our works, but simply to our faith. Faith is proof of things unseen! Are we able to see God? No, we cannot, but we know in our hearts that he is for us because of our circumstances, which we survived and only made it through by God's grace. Jesus has already completed the task for us. He died for our sins in order for us to have eternal life. There is no condemnation in Christ because of Jesus' sacrifice. Because of Jesus' sacrifice, nothing can separate us from God's love. Why did we need Jesus if we could do everything ourselves? Yes, I am flawed, but since I serve a God who is both perfect and merciful, I can rest assured that I am saved and loved.
