In this 16th episode of the Fan Cast It Four Podcast, hosts Dan Bettenhausen and Jack Mayer pull out the documentary gear for the MCU's first mockumentary-style films. This could only mean one thing: "What if Christopher Guest Directed a Fantastic Four film?"
Guest has created and starred in some of our favorite movies that include Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and so on.
After discussing some of the above films, Dan and Jack cast and pitch their Guest film. How many faces from his normal ensemble will we see? Will Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara be paired together again? Might we see Jennifer Coolidge fight some bad guys? What we can know for sure is that improv and hilarity will ensue.
Now, who will we see play Marvel's first family as we approach Phase 5 and Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? With their films be part of the MCU, or will they be in their own Guest mockumentary?
