Mark is a armed with hustle, a blackman from Philly who have had a rough life growing up in a home after being abandoned by his parents. He talks about growing up in a foster home to older parents who could not manage to provide the kind of structure and "stuff" kids need to grow up. He eventually was locked up but found a way to reshape his life and is now a family man striving for his children, wife, who is his soul-mate and to grow his craft as a graphics artist and printer.
He share how he has had a domino-effect of bad luck, where he and his sister lost their home to it collapsing, and having to live in a gym for months on end. He talks about how he is able to navigate life and what keeps him smiling and living.
I also share a bit about me, so as to be polite, for it is unkind to always ask others to talk about themselves, without returning the favor. Hence, you will here us busting it up about navigating life's challenges.
We were in Philly driving from one section of the city tot he next and decided to record an episode for The Podcast. You will find it down-to-earth and very "black" for want of a better word.
