Pamela has over twelve years of experience in the field of Immigration and Nationality law. She has successfully represented countless of individuals in their immigration matters and aggressively defended immigrants in deportation and removal proceedings all over the United States. Pamela is regularly invited to speak at panels and conferences on immigration related topics. She is not only a strong advocate for justice, but she is passionate about helping her community.
This is evident from the array of community organizations and service projects she is actively involved in. Currently, she serves as the co-chair of the Multi-Bar Leadership Council. She also served as the Secretary of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association. Pamela serves as the chair of Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys’ Inter-Bar Relations committee. She is a member of the advocacy committee of the Latin American Association and a member of the Executive Office of Immigration Review of the American Immigration Lawyer Association.
In addition to her participation in these organizations, she also serves as a the captain of the team “Committed to Cure” and has raised thousands of dollars to increase free testing and HIV treatment in the Metro Atlanta area as well as thousands of dollars for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer walk. As a true visionary, Pamela is the co-founder of Project CPF (Collaborative Powers of Faith), a §501 (c)(3) organization centered on assisting the less fortunate. Recently, the organization’s project, “Warm hearts, Warm Winter,” raised thousands of dollars and provided numerous coats for homeless men, women and children in the Atlanta area.
Pamela’s favorite pastime is serving as an assistant mock trial coach for various high schools. ---- It was a pleasure to interview Pamela Peynado, one of the leading immigration attorneys nationwide, a committed immigration activists, and above all, an amazing human being.
