In the story, Makai is dealing with intense anxiety after accidentally shooting a student. His friend Boston advises him to lay low, but Makai's guilt is consuming him. Meanwhile, Makai's mother, who has just started a new job as a therapist, senses that something is amiss but is preoccupied with her new role. Additionally, BabyGirl, another character, begins attending therapy and starts to uncover aspects of her past. The story seems to revolve around the characters' struggles with guilt, anxiety, and the impact of past experiences.
