I'm sharing a discussion/reading of the Bill of Rights, with questions about whether we adhere to these rights today. Is there still common ground we can unite on within these words?

***We need to recognize our common bonds again.
The first 10 Amendments to the Constitution “The Bill of Rights” were ratified effective December 15, 1791.
The Amendments to the Constitution were a list of things our newly formed government – could not do – with the power we the people had given them. The freshly minted United States Congress wanted to further define the limitation of government as another set of “checks” against the tyranny that we have just fought a war to remove.
Pretty important decision I’d say.
But if you look at these rights today, how many of them are ignored and disregarded?
1st Amend – Social Media / Section 230
2nd Amend – Constant argument but law abiding citizens are not the problem.
The right to protect yourself and that of our family was and is a universal right given to us by God.
3rd Amend – Through tech, is the government effectively quarter in our homes?
I-Cop – USPS surveillance of YOU on social media.
4th Amend – FISA courts / The Patriot Act / Civil Asset Forfeiture / Government Monitoring
5th Amend –????
6th Amend – Jan 6th Detainee’s
7th Amend –
8th Amend – Jan 6th Detainee’s
9th Amend –
10th Amend – A majority of federal overreach and ignoring the guidelines set forth in Article 1 – Sec 8 of the Constitution.
Know your rights or you will lose them.
***Do you remember…. 2 Genders, free speech, mandates, American’s locked up by their own country without real charges, or being allowed to speak with council.
