Description

This episode of Poetry Worth Hearing has two parts. The first half is devoted to the conflict in Ukraine, with poets discussing whether or how they can write about the war and then a selection of poems which have been written. Part Two is general with new poems from Brighid Schroer, Carl Tomlinson, Sue Johns, David Cooke and Meg Barton.  We finish with a short reading by Alan Buckley who has recorded for us some of the poems he read at a Zoom open mic event in March and which are taken from his collection, Touched.

Texts of poems, information about poets, publication details and references can all be found on poetryworthhearing.biz. Submissions, suggestions and feedback should be sent to poetryworthhearing@gmail.com.
