Today on the podcast, I spoke to Nico. After his work as an assistant professor and well-being researcher at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, Nico focused 100% on his athletic career and became 5x Belgian, Benelux, European, and Vice World Champion in Muay Thai.
When injuries forced him to hang up the gloves, Nico started to use his performance and well-being psychology expertise to help athletes, CEOs, and their teams optimize their performance without killing their health, relationships, and happiness.
He worked with everyone from world champions to CEOs to turn their stress into their competitive advantage with his signature system that consists of evidence-based psychology, proven executive coaching and hypnosis. In short, he helps ambitious go-getters to enjoy their impressive lives while they are building it.
Nico and I spoke about his happiness journey and how his happiest moment was related to a lot of pain. He shares what he did to transform his life when his career living his passion was over.
We also speak about the function of dopamine, connection with ourselves, our partner, the world and life and what to do to create more of these connections.
