Let’s start the new season with something refreshing - a timely discussion with a Gen-Z. Wooo!
Generation gap is not a new thing. Us Millennials have also experienced comparisons and stereotypes coming from the older generations, based on their observations and frustrations on the rapid evolution of the society. While millennials tend to repeat this cycle, “Buti pa noon…” “Mas maganda noon…” “Mas masaya noon…” exactly the same thing we have heard from the older generations and which we consciously and unconsciously pass on to the younger generation, we can actually bridge this gap by finding our middle ground. While most often than not some observations are valid, it is not fair to simply blame it on the younger generation. Without realizing that WE, the older ones was the society who built the world they were born into - hence responsible for the changes we ourselves hate. And hence part of the solution - to communicate better. We have to realize that time constantly evolves and it is not always ugly. Let’s hear it from Hannah Ty of Asking For A Friend: The Podcast as she bravely debunks some of the most common myths about GenZers and as she breaks some of the oldest taboos in the country. A real empowered female Gen-Z.
