Delay Is Not Denial!
God delays things that we pray for because we ask for the wrong intentions. We may even be asking the wrong questions.
God delays our prayer request, so He can build our character. The Lord wants to get the glory out of all things. He doesn't want anyone to get His glory. In the Bible story of Lazarus. His sisters Martha and Mary called for Jesus to come, because their brother Lazarus was sick. But Jesus stayed away two more days. When Jesus finally made it to them, Lazarus was dead. But Jesus raised Lazarus back from the dead. He got all the glory for doing that. No one else could have done it but Jesus!
