God Is Jealous!
God doesn't want us to put anything, or anyone before Him. That includes your husband, wife, children, pastor, jobs, money, etc. He wants us to always put him 1st, ask Him 1st, make time for Him and humble yourself so His will can be done in your life.

—for you shall not worship any other god; for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous (impassioned) God [demanding what is rightfully and uniquely His]—
The Prayer Of Salvation:
