Dictionary meaning:
harm the good reputation of (someone or something).
But don't let that stop you from doing whatever it is, that God has called you to do.
A lot of people aren't happy with themselves.
They don't understand why they've been trying so hard to get ahead in life. But you appear to make it look so easy and you're speedily prospering, at everything you're doing. Because the hand of God is on your life. They sit back judging you, not knowing all you've gone through, to get to this place in life, where God has you right now. They don't know the sacrifices you've made, How you fast and prayed for days, How you blessed others even when you didn't have it to give. Just so you could hear the voice of God speak to you, so you could feel His presence on the inside of you, so you could receive Angelic encounters from Him.
People don't know your sacrifice.
But don't let your heart get hardened. Pray for them, ask the Lord to let His presence be known in their lives.
Keep interceding for them in prayer. One day they'll come to you asking for prayer. Asking how can they, hear the voice of God.
God always fights your battles for you.

God will make your enemies your footstool.

A Psalm of David The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
All you need to do is spend time with the Lord, intercede for others, and keep doing the will of God. Yes, "People Will Discredit God's Work In Your Life!"
