Accumulating anger and dissatisfaction! “Modern Slavery “, says the doctors !
The movement started early June 2021 in Facebook, as a call to request for the government to respond to their needs. It is a protest against the current flawed contract system that has caused tremendous dissatisfaction amongst the contract medical staff, especially during this over-working pandemic time. The lack of job security, uncertainty in career advancement, unequal pay and benefits, and over-working over the years have caused this strike.
26 July 2021, the doctors went on strike in the morning as their demands were not taken seriously. What’s next?
