Evie Waddell, creator and performer of Fàilte Gu BSL (Welcome to BSL) joins Toby for this special episode of The Next Stage. They talk Scottish and Gaelic culture, making performance accessible for deaf audiences and how being deaf doesn't limit your creativity when it comes to making music and theatre. For this episode, we have created an episode transcript you can open and read along whilst listening to the episode if you are deaf or hard of hearing, which is available further down in this description.
Fàilte Gu BSL plays for two performances in different locations. These are:
Deaf Action (Blackwood Bar) on 12th August.
Scottish Storytelling Centre (Netherbow Theatre) on 13th August.
Performances begin at 16:00 and last for 50 minutes.
