I am deeply touched by Julia Verdouw's story, which I have first heard in August 2022, when I interviewed Daniel Sih... Then Julia and I connected; and I heard her side of the story - which she will now share with you!
A quick intro: Julia lives with her three daughters in Hobart (Nipaluna), Tasmania, at the foot of the very beautiful Mt Kunanyi. Julia is an academic and lecturer in the field of education with a background in sociology, housing studies, and housing policy.
She loves Tasmania, deep conversations with friends, being with her girls, writing, poetry, music, reading, making connections between things, a warm fireplace, and walking in the foothills of the mountain. Julia has recently published a new book, which you can find on her website below!
