Description

A decade ago, when Lucas Pierce was 17, his mother died of a Glioblastoma multiforme (a rare terminal brain tumor). Since then he has taken the lessons from his personal grief journey and shared them with others who are experiencing similar life events.

Currently residing in Philadelphia, Lucas lives with his girlfriend Nina, and their two dogs Barron and Joni.

He has been an avid volunteer in the pediatric oncology space for the last eight years through Penn State’s THON, Camp Can Do, Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago, and Camp H-Town.

Lucas is also a volunteer counsellor at Camp Erin NYC’s grief camp for kids 8-17 and is currently an Assistant Director of Camp Can Do’s Sibling Camp program. He also works as a coach for Guild Education.
