Description

Mel Riley is a senior accredited BACP psychotherapist who has gone from homeless at 16 to building a successful private practice in Wolverhampton.

She is passionate about relationships and helping people to not just survive, but to thrive beyond anxiety, depression & trauma.

Her training and expertise are informed by her own lived experience and extensive studies, she incorporates creative & playful approaches to healing and living well.

Mel describes herself as half gobby cow and half terrified human, and when not working, she can be found trying to rehabilitate two rescued miniature dachshunds. When not wrestling with dogs, she also likes playing at being a wild-life photographer, performance poet, takes on the boys in an all-male squash league and like to inspire others to play more and work a bit less.

Her favourite saying, time is a healer but it's what you do with it, that really counts.

Note: these interviews are recorded & shared on various platforms to spread positive & inspiring impulses around the globe on how to deal with loss differently to what society currently has on offer!
