Description

Rachel Engstrom is a young woman who has survived one of the toughest tragedies she could face in life, who has come out on the other side, wanting to help others.

She lives in Minneapolis/St. Paul area with her family and beloved dog Greta. By day she helps consumers get connected to mental health and substance abuse services, and on evenings and weekends, she is a podcast guest, guest blog writer, and volunteer, when not spending time with family or friends.

Rachel became a cancer wife in 2011, at age 28, when her 35-year-old husband was diagnosed with leukaemia. Two days after her 31st birthday, she became a widow.

Based on her personal and professional experiences, she shares her story in hopes that it helps those who walk in similar shoes feel less alone and more empowered to move forward in their lives with positivity.

Note: these interviews will be recorded & shared on various platforms to share positive & inspiring impulses around the globe on how to deal with Loss differently from what society currently has on offer!
