"Nurturing Healing Love" written by Scarlett Lewis is the message her six-year-old son, Jesse, left on their kitchen chalkboard shortly before his murder at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
It was a message of comfort but also a solution and has been amplified in schools, homes and communities through the Choose Love Movement.
Jesse saved 9 of his first-grade classmates before losing his own life, and his courage became a model for his mom’s life purpose: to spread love, hope and healing throughout the world.
