Today we talk food rules, diet trends, diet culture, vs intuitive eating, food freedom, sustainable eating habit, body positivity, body neutrality and the impacts this has on our relationship with our bodies. I got to host Jenna a certified personal trainer who works with women in helping them rediscover a positive relationship with their bodies. Jenna and I both starting dieting at a very young age, and for the greater majority of our lives, were bouncing from one diet trend to another, with the one and only goal to be thin. Jenna shares her journey of being a yoyo dieter and the impacts its had in her life. Along with how over the years, she has grown into accepting her body for what it can do vs defining her worth based on her body. As a life and nutrition coach myself, I loved how we tied the conversation around diet culture, fitness modalities, mindset work and the relationship to our bodies.
