“Animal cruelty Is a public safety crisis” says My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue, and they are urging the Government to step up and to put in place animal welfare legislation and to ensure proper enforcement of this. MLHR are also seeking for a Garda led reform on animal cruelty cases and on these criminals who are torturing all kinds of animals because this increase in animal cruelty is very worrying in of itself, but even more so when you see that there is also a huge increase in domestic abuse cases and other attacks too. Adrianne speaks here to Martina Kenny, Founder of MLHR about this worrying trend and their four key asks that they have put before the Government.
