"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." 2 Timothy 2:22. (NIV)
1. Flee the evil desires of youth.
2. You can’t really say “yes” to God until you can say “no” to some other things.
3. Make our relationship with God a priority.
"For my determined purpose is that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly." Phillipians 3:10a (ABCE)
4. When it comes to making Jesus known we are God’s plan A, there is no plan B.
"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven." Matthew 10:32-33 (NIV)
5. Pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace
6. Its not just avoiding bad things. It must also be the pursuit of good things.
7. Make time with God every day.
