Week 3: Joy has Arrived!
This Christmas we explore the astonishing reality that the eternal Son of God, “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature” (Hebrews 1:3), made the choice to embrace human nature, becomes man, and live among us. But even more astonishing, Jesus didn’t just come to be born; he came to live, and give his life as a ransom for many. He came to save the world from sin and death, and his arrival swings the door wide open to a true and lasting hope—one that the world can’t snatch away. His arrival offers us a peace that stands firm and an eternal, indestructible joy. And because of Jesus’s arrival, we can be brought into his everlasting love.
