WEEK 3: HIS WISDOM IS PERFECT
Joseph: In God’s Hands
Beholding the Perfect Sovereignty of God
In today’s message, we’re reminded that God’s wisdom is not only perfect—it’s generously available to those who ask. As we walk through Genesis 40, we find Joseph once again in a place of trial, falsely accused and confined in prison. But even here, God is orchestrating events with sovereign precision. Through Joseph’s encounter with Pharaoh’s cupbearer and baker, we see how God’s wisdom breaks through confusion, provides clarity, and sets the stage for redemption.
Key Takeaways:
God’s wisdom is perfect, even in seasons of suffering.
Joseph demonstrates mature faith by depending on God rather than trying to figure things out on his own.
True spiritual growth means becoming more dependent on the Lord, not more independent.
Like Joseph, we can cry out for wisdom in our pain and uncertainty—because God promises to give it generously (James 1:5).
God is the Author of your story. There is an answer key—and He holds it.
Whether you’re facing confusion, waiting on a breakthrough, or walking through deep pain, today’s message reminds us to stop striving for answers on our own and instead depend fully on the God who never leaves us without direction.
