I've been thinking a lot lately about self-care rituals. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind, and sometimes it feels like your life is just one thing after another, without any time for yourself. I think it's important to have a few things that you do regularly to take care of yourself—things that are just for you.

For me, one of those things is making tea in the morning. I love making myself a cup of tea and then sitting down with it and reading or listening to music or playing with my cat for an hour or so before I start my day. It's something that makes me feel grounded and happy at the same time. That's why I wanted to share this idea with you today: find something that helps you feel centered and calm, then do it every day!

When you're feeling stressed, it can be hard to know where to start, but that's when it's important to find something that helps you feel centered and calm.

It could be anything from going for a walk in nature to doing some yoga to playing with your dog (or cat!)—whatever works for YOU.

And then, once you've found that activity that helps you unwind, do it every day! It will help make sure that when times are tough, you have a healthy habit in place that can help remind you of why we're all here: to live our best lives.

It's not always easy to find a few minutes to yourself, let alone a few hours. But if you can't find time, then you're definitely not taking care of yourself. Unsure how to start? Try taking 5 minutes every day to read a book or magazine. It might sound like a small thing, but it's helped me feel more at peace when I come home after a long day.
