This week on the Manchester tapes, we take a look at The Stone Roses. Easily one of the most influential bands to make an impact in the British music and baggy/madchester scene in the 80s/90s. We have singer Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani, and drummer Reni. We'll be taking a look at their formative years in Manchester, their breakout debut album that solidified their legendary status, Ian's equally successful solo career, and their subsequent breakup.
