- And there are lot of hiring freeze also.
- Previous two years, they have hired a lot of people. But at the end many of them are just a social media platform which don't require 80K people.
- In India a lot of Social Influencers and funded companies, were formed to just crack these companies.
- These companies takes heavy DS and Algo rounds, which is not related to real projects.
- But since a lot of people in India applies for them, so they have to keep these tough selection criteria.
- They are just 5% of the total IT jobs, but in India a lot of people want to get in them only.
- This is because their 14 lpa package seems a lot with the stock option, which comes around 40 lpa.
- But you can learn the truth of the stock option in lot of other places.
- Since, India is a status driven nation. These are high on list of parents and students after IIT, IIM, UPSC.
- And again the same thing repeats. For a handful of jobs ton of applicants and most ed-tech exploiting it and making crores.
- Applying for those 95% job is easy part. But you should know the correct technologies after doing your research.
- Sometimes those ADs will not allow you to do the research. Like they will show a lot of Data Science jobs, which are not there.
- The real jobs are in Web-app development and this is what these FAANG companies are. Facebook is a big web-app.
- These web-apps are made mainly with ReactJS. But Angular is still used at a lot of places.
- You need to know only HTML, CSS and JavaScript before moving to React or Angular.
- Learn these tech, create projects, post on linkedin and get a job. As simple as this.
