Conflict within a marriage cannot be avoided. Scripture tells us not to be surprised (1 Peter 4:12) when trials come our way. How we communicate within those trials with our spouse will either help or hurt the situation. It is important to take the time to understand your go to style of communication and ask the questions, why do I communicate in that way? Do I need to change the way I communicate with my spouse?
