I Thess 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.” We are in the season of giving and one of the greatest gifts you can give someone is the gift of encouragement. There is not a person alive that doesn’t need some encouragement. The problem with some of us is that we are so broken and wounded, that we look to receive more encouragement that we are able to give out. The key to building each other up, as the text tells us, is to give out more encouragement than we are looking to receive. That’s why God fills our cup so that it will overflow. The more we encourage others the more the Lord pours back into us. Be encouraged and encourage some body. Amen!
