John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Let me give you 3 things about the Truth:
1. There is Power in the Truth:
• The truth has the power to set us free.
• The truth has the power to release us from the burdens we carry.
• The truth will open our eyes to the things that are blinding us.
2. The Truth can hold you hostage:
• When we withhold the truth, the thing that we are holding onto, has a hold on us.
• Our refusal to hear the truth, keeps us from receiving the truth that the Lord is trying to tell us.
3. Why should we tell the truth?
• It’s the truth we don’t tell, that hurts the most.
• When I tell the truth, the truth, has the power to shift the atmosphere. Jesus said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” Jon 8:32
