Phil 3:13-14
”Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” 3 Things about Pressing:
1) You have to be Committed! Psalms 37:5-6 NKJV
”Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.“
There are things you are going to have to fight through, to get to, what God has prepared for you.
2) You need to operate on a short-term memory.
“But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before…”
3) Understand that Victory is not a result of wining. You can win the argument and lose the relationship. Your victory comes in your press.
Keep pressing toward the mark, that high calling of God in Christ Jesus.“
