This episode long time friend of the podcast and guest of a few them of them Reilly (maybe Jonesy I don't remember) joins the podcast. He posed a question to me in my DM's that was worth of a podcast discussion. There used to be ( and maybe still is in some places) this idea of earning your place and striving to be respected by the senior cops. We explore that idea and why it's important and why it could be different now. I think we do a good job balancing that in some ways the older generation needs to evolve and why in some ways there are right. We also do the same with the younger generation of cops who in my opinion don't have the same values as the older generations.
We offer some ideas on who to come together as a profession. We also dive into a long lost PMPM post that had tons of great learning points in the comments. We will do some podcasts in the future hitting some of those ideas.
Also we get my attempt at sports ball play by play.
