Description

In Colombian public schools, it is very common that a number of cultural, institutional, national, academic, or leisure activities are programmed and executed along the school year. To what extent do these activities affect the regular teaching practicum of pre-service teachers? What can be done? Do these activities contribute to students’ holistic development or are they just a barrier for the continuum of a normal learning process, particularly in the development of skills in another language? Two practitioners of the Licenciatura in Bilingualism with emphasis on English Language will share with us their opinions about it.
