Description

We use the phrase "a ten a penny" to express an unimaginably large number. When we think of the vastness of the universe, it has long been beyond our imagination. If we think further, we realize how small we actually are. This can lead us to freeze and live our lives fatalistically in view of the smallness of our own being. What is interesting, however, is that this is not how people have behaved throughout history in Christianity. They were obviously not paralyzed by their lowliness, but saw the greatness of the Creator behind it. This motivated them in their search for this Creator to go further, to explore, to discover. They looked away from their own insignificance to the greatness of the Creator and wanted to delve deeper and deeper into the mysteries of creation out of awe. I believe it is the divine in us that drives us to do this. It is the omnipresence of God within us. God is there. In our lowliness. Especially in it.

I wish you an extraordinary day!
