Just the other day the topic was the dark tunnel and that this is not only negative but also holds a potential of hope - a possible path, even if not quite easy. But a path nonetheless. When you go from light to dark all of a sudden - for example, the light suddenly goes out in the stairwell or you switch off the light before going to bed - you usually hardly see anything, certainly not something that is dark anyway. With time, however, the eyes get used to the different lighting conditions and suddenly you recognise things that were not visible before. For me, this too is a sign or image of hope for times that are not easy: Our gaze can adapt through adverse circumstances if we allow it, and we begin to recognise things that were invisible to us at the beginning. Despite darkness, we see, we recognise and thus we also find our bearings again. This for encouragement!
I wish you an extraordinary day!
